Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant: This plant can do well in most container gardens with good drainage. It can be removed in due time if it reaches too large of a size. Its trailing growth habit makes it an excellent choice for a hanging basket outdoors or on a patio. The Hindu Rope Plant is an excellent houseplant that is very easy to care for and forgiving.
Josh's Frogs offers a wide variety of supplies for all of your indoor gardening needs.
Vivariums/Animal Terrariums: Being a succulent preferring well-draining soil on the more dry side of the spectrum, this plant is not recommended for vivariums.
Care Notes: For better bloom production, it is recommended to keep this plant a bit rootbound.
It is important to not remove the leafless “spurs” that grow at the end of the rope vines. Although not as attractive as the rest of the plant, these spurs are where the blooms will form.
As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants from Josh's Frogs are treated only with products that are OMRI Listed© for use in organic production. Live plants may vary in color, size and appearance.
ALL PLANTS ARE SHIPPED IN POTS WITH SOIL OR OTHER MEDIA UNLESS IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY TO SHIP BARE ROOT.
